Merry Christmas & Happy New Year....a little late! OH....and a whole lot of PUPS!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas & New Year! It is sooooo hard for me to believe that it is already 2009. As most of you know....Mike and I are extremely excited about what 2009 has in store for us!
During the Christmas holidays Mike and I stayed pretty busy. This year was suppose to be the year we spent Christmas with my family. But since Harmony was expecting any day that week....we spent Christmas in Weatherford. My mom, Ross, Steph & girls, and AC all came up on the Sunday before Christmas and had Christmas lunch with us. And of course we opened gifts. =) I was very thankful that my family made it up here to spend a little time with us....it would of been hard on me not seeing them for Christmas.
As for Christmas day.....Mike and I woke up and opened presents all by ourselves. We realized that this is probably the ONLY Christmas morning that we will spend by ourselves for a VERY long time. After all....for 30 years I have never spent Christmas morning by myself....and now with a baby on the way.....well....it will probably be another 30 years. lol It was kinda nice actually. Our first Christmas in our home...and we got to enjoy Christmas morning together....with Tinkerbell, Harmony, and Dallas of course!
Later that day...Mike's family came over and opened presents. We didn't have a big Christmas meal or anything.....just snacked on stuff and hung out. It was a pretty mellow Christmas. I have a feeling that next year won't be so mellow. =)
Then on December 27th....our grand pups were born! ALL 7 of them! Mike and I stayed next to Harmony the whole time while she delivered the puppies. She did such a great job. We were just sooooo shocked that a little Yorkie could have 7 puppies.....and even more shocked....yet thankful....that all survived! She has been such a good mother to them! It is going to be sooooo hard seeing all of them go. Right now they are a little over two weeks old....and still have their eyes closed. If anyone is interested in a Yorkie.....please let me know. And yes....that was a sales pitch! =)
As for New Years....well....I am pregnant.....can't get to wild and crazy! lol We rang in the New Year at Yolie's aunt's house with alot of her family. Last year I was pregnant also and couldn't even stay up until mid-night! At least this year I made it till about 1 am. As soon as the New Year rang in....we came home and spent a little time with the pups.
Since New Years we have just been busy working. I know I have not posted an update about the baby in awhile....but I have just been soooo nervous with this pregnancy. I am now 17 weeks along....and that is exactly where I was the first time when we lost our baby girl. So I have been pretty reserved this time around with updates. I am feeling great though...and I have felt the baby move several times. We find out a week from today what we are having and we are very excited! So.....I will make sure to post then!
I hope everyone has a blessed 2009!

wow..looks like you guys had a great holiday season. I don't know which niece it is of yours, but she looks so much like ya'll. and congrats on being a grandma...best wishes on your next appointment.
Danielle....I would have to guess that you are referring to Katelynn....she is in a picture by herself in front of the fireplace. She is the one that looks most like a Toney!!! =)
yeah, that is the one...she is definately a Toney!!!
So glad that things are going well for you. I will continue to pray for you :) I can't wait to hear what you are having!
Fun fun! My parents Yorkie had two litter last year- one with four pups (there were five, but one did not make it) and one with six pups. We thought that was a lot! Way to go Harmony! Looks like an exciting holiday season, and I'm anxious to see all that 2009 holds for you as well. Can't wait to hear about the baby next week!!
