Hey everyone....

I know I have been sooooo bad about keeping this thing up to date. Life has been pretty busy lately. =)

I finally got some pictures uploaded to the computer so I can share them with you. As far as life goes....Mike is still working in Hillsboro....and I hopefully will start working with him some time next week....will keep you posted. Enjoy the pictures!

Staying busy.....

Hey everyone....

I know I have been terrible about keeping up with this blog lately! Things have been very busy....as always! Hopefully next week I will be able to post some more recent pictures....but for now....here's a little update on what's going on in our lives.

First of all.... the project in Kemah that Mike was working on got cancelled. We were there for almost a month and enjoyed every minute of it. After it was cancelled he got to come home for a couple of days and then headed to Hillsboro for an emergency project that they needed him on. Originally he was only suppose to be there for 2 weeks.....but that's turned into about 3 weeks now and he will probably be there for another 3 or 4 weeks. After that he will probably be put on a project that will be in El Campo....which is only 15 minutes from Wharton! Big change from that first job in Arkansas....which was about 9 hours away! lol

Now as for Hillsboro......we have enjoyed our stay there so far....but to be honest there isn't really much to do there. They do have the Outlet Malls....which is awesome....and not to mention right next to the place we are staying! lol I've already spent way to much money there! Our first weekend there Brookelyn, Madeline, and Aaron came and stayed a night with us. We really enjoyed spending some time with them. We took them shopping and swimming. It was nice having them around...hopefully next time they will be able to spend more than just a night with us.

This past weekend was a long weekend for us...although it went by really fast! lol I took Friday off...so I headed up there on Thursday and didn't get back to work until yesterday...which was Wednesday! =) We stayed in Hillsboro Thursday night and then headed to Weatherford on Friday to hang out with Nino for his birthday which was the 31st. It was good to see everyone again and to spend some time with them. We ended up staying in Weatherford Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night....then headed back to Hillsboro on Monday. During our stay there Mike developed gout in his foot again. We ended up having to go to the emergency room on Sunday morning because he was hurting so bad. Poor thing....and poor me! lol I tell you what.....guys are so funny when they aren't feeling well.....you'd think they were dying! =) Needless to say....Mike was on crutches for the next couple of days. He is still hurting a little....but it is better than it was on Sunday morning!

One more thing I would like to share right now.......Sept. 29th will be my last official day here at Hafer Case. Well.....I take that back....lol....I will still be working for them some.....I just won't be in the office daily anymore. As all of you know....Mike has been traveling for over a year now....and it has been pretty hard on both of us being away from each other so much. Since we don't have kids yet....we have decided it would be best if I start working with his company and travel with him. We would be like a husband and wife team.....so no matter what project there is....we will always be on the same one. We are both really excited about being together all the time again. Don't get me wrong....I am really going to miss being at Hafer Case everyday......that is the best job EVER....but right now Mike and I need to have a normal life.....so this is what we have decided to do! =) Anyways....that's all for now.....more to come soon......
