Mother's Day

Yesterday was the day that all of us get to celebrate how WONDERFUL our mom's are to us! It's hard to believe that there is only one day a year that is truly set aside to honor our moms and all they do for us. How on earth can we express in ONE day how much they mean to us....and how much we appreciate all they do for us....and how much we cherish them. One day??? Give me a break! =) Honestly...Mother's day should be celebrated everyday. As should Father's day. Our parents do so much for us throughout our lives.... and we should all make it a point to show our parents how much we appreciate them more.



Mike and I got to spend time with both of our moms yesterday. My family took my mom out to eat and afterwards we headed over to Mike's parents house to spend time with his family. That's the good thing about having both of our parents in the same town...=)....we get to share holidays! Both of our moms have been there for us...and we both love our moms very much...but we BOTH need to get better about telling our moms how much we love them. It's so easy to get wrapped up in our everyday lives that sometimes we forget to express our feelings to one another. So to Yolanda & LuLu.... we love you both & we thank you both for always being there for us. We hope you both had a wonderful mother's day!
